Eren Ozmen is the President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Chairwoman of the Board of Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), a world-class prime systems integrator and electronic systems provider known for its rapid, innovative, and agile technology solutions. In 1994, Eren and her husband Fatih Ozmen acquired SNCorp and set their plans in motion to expand and grow the company. SNCorp soon grew into the top Woman-Owned Federal Contractors in the United States as a direct result of the Ozmen’s strong financial and technical management and strategic planning efforts, including the successful acquisition of ten electronics firms in many states from coast to coast in the US. SNCorp has expanded its seven business areas in 31 locations in 16 states. SNC employs over 2,100 people – most of whom are scientists, engineers, or technical personnel – and all of whom are dedicated to meeting and exceeding the needs to SNCorp’s diverse customer base.
Multidimensional and extremely dynamic, Eren Ozmen is actively involved in all key aspects of SNC’s business management. Eren has received numerous awards for her excellent leadership of SNCorp, including the 2005 and 2006 Government Computer News (GCN) awards where SNC was recognized as the top Woman Owned company demonstrating excellence in applying innovative IT solutions to the Federal Government; the 2002 Women’s Role Model of the Year; and the 2001 Nevada Distinguished Business of the Year. SNC has also been ranked #1 on the FedList of Women-owned businesses; #2 on the Fastest Growing Women-Owned Companies in North America by the International Women Presidents’ Organization; and one of the US Top 10 Fastest Growing Private Companies by Inc. Magazine in 2010.
